Functionality of the Cattle Dehiding Platform

On the slaughter line, platforms with capacity for a single operator are sometimes necessary. This type of platform is fundamentally necessary in cattle dehiding as an accompaniment to the pulling of the skin by the roller of the dehiding machine.

This equipment has dimensions of 800×800 mm, and can accommodate a small sink and a knife sterilizer. Due to its small size and weight, it is powered by a single pneumatic cylinder, although an hydraulic cylinder can be attached.

It consists of a mobile platform, which moves up or down, depending on the needs of the operator using a pneumatic cylinder. This cylinder is activated by pedals located on the floor, so that the operator always has his hands free to carry out the corresponding work operations.

This platform is placed on a skinner assembly, such as the Dehiding machine V40 y la Dehiding machine V70 manufactured by Mecanova. The machine has safety barriers and driving pedals. There is the option of pneumatic horizontal movement towards the axis of the dressing rail to facilitate this skinning task.

They are prepared to be equipped with any auxiliary machinery, whether work tools, sinks, sterilizers or showers (all optional). All actuation is carried out using pneumatic valves, thus avoiding the placement of electrical elements, thus facilitating maintenance tasks.
