Functionality of the Cattle Transfer System
The cattle transfer system is used to support the cleaning and pre-skinning operation of the cattle’s hind legs. This system allows continuity in the leg changing process, which means greater productivity and work ergonomics.
The leg change process is one of the critical points in the performance of a beef slaughter line, since both legs of the animal must be cleaned and placed with the slaughter hooks on the slaughter conveyor. Mecanova offers its clients a transfer system with various equipment that facilitates and speeds up this work.
In this way, a production of up to 150 cattle per hour can be achieved.

ELECTRIC CARCASSES DESCENDER: Manufactured using a UPN 80 profile. Laser-cut side plates with a thickness of 10 mm. All material is S275 JR finished in hot galvanized
PNEUMATIC or ELECTRIC CHANNEL ADVANCER: Structurally manufactured with profiles in UPN 80 hot-dip galvanized S275 JR material
SECOND LEG PNEUMATIC or HYDRAULIC ARM: Structurally manufactured using 1 mm S275 JR material plates
