Functionality of the Flat Track System
Flat tracks systems are a type of overhead rail common in America, Eastern Europe and Asia. For this type of track, sheaves or trolleys are required. This track can be manufactured in S-275-JR iron or AISI – 304 Stainless Steel. The structure consists of different elements to ensure safe, effective and optimized transport and transfer of the carcass.
Platen profile
The sheave platen is made of 60x12mm if it is for pork carcasses, and 100x12mm if it is for beef carcasses.
Supports or saddles
The separation of the track between supports is usually 600 mm, and designs compatible with conveyors or wheels manufactured by Mecanova are allowed.
Detours
We have manual or pneumatic detours.
This installation requires an accompanying structure that Mecanova manufactures in hot-dip galvanized steel with a screwed assembly, which allows its assembly by operators with certain qualifications without the need for welding.
