Functionality of the Sheep Rotating Ritual Box

The rotating ritual box is a machine designed for the slaughter of sheep according to the HALAL or KOSHER rite, with a maximum production of 50 animals per hour. It is designed to slaughter animals between 20 and 60 kg.

For the correct handling of the equipment, a prior chute with a slit dosing door or a restrainer that leads and doses the animals to the box is necessary.

Correct operation requires one worker for productions of less than 50 animals per hour, and two workers if it is a higher production. The operation is carried out as follows:

Once the animal enters the box, the immobilization side must be closed, leaving the head outside.
The Box is lowered to facilitate the slaughter according to the Rite.
Once the animal has bled enough, the immobilization side is opened, allowing the carcass to fall onto the hanging table.
