Functionality of the Weight Sorter
Weight Sorting Machines, as their name indicates, continuously and automatically classify pieces of meat by weight based on the ranges previously established for their production.
The machine can classify fresh meat into blood, frozen meat or even packaged meat.
The standard weight sorter model has 5 sorters plus the rest, although they can be manufactured with other functionalities.
The production of the machine depends on the size of the pieces to be classified. Thus, for large pieces such as hams or pork shoulders, with weights between 8kg and 14kg per unit, 700 units per hour can be reached.
The Bizerba weighing set allows great precision in weighing, in addition to exporting weighing data to the production computer system.
